After 14 years with the state (Georgia Forestry Commission and USDA Soil Conservation Service) and 11 years with a private consulting firm, Ms. Self joined Preston in 2005 as a Senior Environmental Specialist. Her expertise includes asbestos and lead paint investigations, erosion & sedimentation control monitoring/PGC E&S staff management, wetland identification and permitting, Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA’s), Georgia Environmental Policy Act (GEPA) reports, Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST) investigation and on-site testing, landfill groundwater sampling and monitoring well installations.
